Description

Penrite Cam Assembly Lube is a specialized assembly lubricant designed to protect engine components during the critical initial startup of new or rebuilt engines. Its formulation includes rust and oxidation inhibitors, tackiness additives, and anti-wear agents such as zinc and graphite, ensuring components are safeguarded against wear and corrosion.

Applications:

Ideal for the initial lubrication of engine components such as camshaft lobes, followers, journals, camshaft and crankshaft bearings, pushrod tips, rockers, bushes, gears, thrust bearings, and timing chains during assembly.

Usage Instructions:

• Apply a light film directly to moving or stationary surfaces that will come into contact with other moving parts.

• Use sparingly; only a thin layer is necessary.

• The product will dissipate into the engine oil upon first startup.

• Note: Not recommended for use on pistons, as the graphite content may affect the bedding-in process.
